Well in my effort to make sure that Amelia has good hygeine I bought a finger "tooth" brush and infant toothpaste and Amelia had her first brushing today!! Yay, she seemed to really like it!

Busy day

It's going to be a busy day today, so here's a pic to get me through ok.

an ear infection?

poor little Amelia has not been herself. Waking every hour at night, not sleeping well during naps, not eating well. Could it be tething or an ear infection? Guess we'll call the dr and see.

Our first Christmas as a family! Amelia is growing quickly, sitting by herself for a few moments at a time!

8 hours!!!

I can't believe it! Amelia slept more than 8 hours, I got so worried I undid her swaddle because I knew it would wake her up!
She's really growing up!!

Tropical storms are in the area. The air is chilly and it's too wet to go out, so Amelia is hanging out in her bathrobe!! How cute is she? LOL

The making of Amelia's room

Well, it took a while for it all to come together but I am pretty darn proud of it! I made all of the curtains, the crib skirt and reupholstered the glider. And made the pillows to match the curtains and glider. Brandon stripped the lead based paint off the dresser that was Grandmother's dreser and we repainted it. I painted the stripes on the upper half of the wall (it's not wallpaper).
